Skinny Velvet is….One part Blues, One Part Rock…add equal parts of Southern Soul and Funk…..shake til’ you feel the groove. As described by one concert attendee, “Skinny Velvet is the Carolina’s Most Dangerous Band !!! ”
The band consists of drummer Philipp Barry, guitarist/vocalist Ben Robinson and bassist/vocalist Jim Bolt.
After touring in their well respected bands for years, these talented musicians have joined forces to take their music to a different level. From blues and soul…to funk and rock, nothing is out of bounds for this fresh, new group.
